We are Norway's oldest rugby club, which was founded in Horten in 1994 by zealots who wanted to build the sport of rugby in Norway and especially in the Eastern region. We are a sports club that focuses on breadth and inclusion and honors healthy values such as RESPECT, DISCIPLINE, INTEGRITY, SOLIDARITY and JOY OF SPORTS for children, young people and adults.
Rugby is an inclusive activity environment where everyone is welcome regardless of background, age, gender, size, shape and colour. You are all wanted by us to be part of the rugby family in Norway and worldwide.
Horten Rugby Club has Norway's best rugby pitches located in Lyslunden sports park in Horten by Horten's canal, where you can see the big H goals when you drive or walk past right by Horten Videregående skole. We have several team offers for all age groups and wheelchair users. You should not have played any kind of sport at all to sign up to try out. A Gamer is as rugby-savvy as someone who has played football or handball for years. It is as much about mental strength as physical strength.
Horten Rugby Club wants to continue to grow and is especially looking out for girls and women who want to play rugby. We have many eminent female profiles who warmly welcome all of you and will help you learn the wonderful game of rugby. HRK's women's team has profiles who are national team players and good sporting leaders in the club who make themselves available to all girls and women who want to hang out with us #prøvogstoposs.
Horten Rugby Club's main goal is to ensure enjoyment and a healthy, inclusive positive environment for children, youth and adults in the eastern region of Norway of which everyone is welcome to be a part of.
